Red flags in the first month — what did you miss at the time?

Not looking for the usual "all Thai women are after your money" replies, please. I am asking the opposite question. For people whose relationship went badly, what was the small thing that was visible early and that you talked yourself out of? And for people whose relationship worked, what was the early sign that it was real? I am six weeks into something and I would rather ask now than in two years.
